We partnered with the iconic home of cognac to create the Hennessy Sound Lounge.
For two weeks in July 2018, we transformed our gallery and retail space into a lounge inspired by Japanese listening rooms of the 1970s, complete with custom-made sound system by Toby Hatchett.
The Hennessy Sound Lounge, hosted by DJ and broadcaster Sally Cinnamon, welcomed seven record collectors, inviting them to delve a little deeper into their favourite tracks and albums for an intimate audience. Ahead of the live interview and music session, guests were guided on a tour through the Hennessy range, with brand ambassador, Paul Tuohy.
We curated a line-up of some of the most interesting record collectors, spanning a range of genres. We hosted the legendary DJ, photographer and rock ‘n’ roll renaissance man, BP Fallon, singer-songwriter David Kitt, and Simon Cullen and Sorcha McGrath of Choice Music Prize-winning duo Ships. Designer at record label Luaka Bop, Paul Diddy, experimental artist, filmmaker and avid music collector, Vivienne Dick, DJs John Byrne and Colm K, and music promoter and DJ Aisling O’Riordan also appeared.
From start to finish, from concept to brand identity, interior design, event and talent management, direction and working closely with Hennessy’s PR and digital agencies, we realised one of our most successful events to date. We created a digital film, and created a range of visual assets to promote the Hennessy Sound Lounge across social channels.
